Character ponderings.
Well it’s a bit early for this, but I was struggling with what to give mom for Mother’s Day, and it occurred to me that I’ve never given her art before (worst artist daughter ever). I can post it now though cuz mom doesn’t know anything about Tumblr so there’s no danger of her stumbling upon this ohohoho~.
Of course now I’m remembering that I haven’t gotten anything for my sisters either, I always forget about them on Mother’s Day, cuz I don’t think of them as MOM I think of them as SISTERS and blarg maybe I’ll send them some cookies…
I miss thunderstorms…
Um okay that’s enough Photoshop for one day.

Blaaah here’s some old stuff.
This was a comic I was developing back in, I dunno, 2005? It was my first attempt at combining my two greatest loves: magical girls and urban fantasy. Alas, in those days I had very little conviction when it came to finishing projects (I’ve improved somewhat since then… I hope). I had trouble getting the plot working too, but I did enjoy the characters, so maybe I’ll revisit it one day.
I still have that Keroppi pencil case on the left side of the first photo! And omg at the top I think that might be a Ringling College catalog.
